soul
here's
an idea
existence
won't trouble
we're
the unlikely ones
first
to be here
second
to know
call
it dumb luck
to
have made it
to
be so made
can
you imagine a start
but
no finishing line?
surely
that's where the trumpets come in?
try
telling that to the strings
and
wouldn't there be eternity after?
and
after that again?
actually
it's all around
and
in the thick of things
a
kind of hoarding
'a
thing immortal'
won't
the walls come tumbling?
perhaps
if we start to see it as a problem
we'll
begin to find some answers
Nice way of putting things, (whether immortal or not)! I don't know if it's a real problem, but it rises questions and neither theologians, nor scientists nor philosophers have found a satisfactory way to put things beyond any "so what" or "what comes next" or what's after the last why etc etc!
