Chrysogonus Siddha #10 - megatruh

megatruh
~ tenth song ~

death is the end of the longest prayer
end of the day when heavy lids fall

death’s beginning is like a prayer’s too
do words unheard sprout wings to fly?

what is it that the tongue rolls off?
capture is evaded

only one word remains
in a pity of broken breath

amen gives itself up
to hearing

before the final
breathlessness

  1. This is a gentle sweet poem Chrys. I feel so much tenderness in it... Is this tenth poem following the poems you posted immediatly before, will you built the collection in this order? Or will you change this order?

  2. Dear Beatrice, the collection will follow this order just like the original order in the song cycle.
